Short description of your band and your music: Hip hop for the mind, body and soul.

Has the party side of the music industry been all you were hoping for so far in your career? Haha. It's been okay. I've had some awesome times. Not the main focus for creating music, though.

What is the best thing that's happened to you/your band so far? Seeing my parents and my grandfather at a show. They mean a lot to me and to make them proud is my biggest achievement.

Are your ambitions mainly artistic or commercial? Definitely artistic. Good luck finding someone who will honestly answer the latter. Haha.

Is your music best rendered in the studio or the live realm? I'd like to say both. But in the live arena, anything can happen and it can sometimes sound and feel a lot better than the studio version.

If you could have any act past or present join you on your next tour who would you tap? That's a hard one. Probably someone like Roots Manuva or De La Soul.

What industry lessons would you like to take away from the BIGSOUND conference? How to not strangle promoters, but instead deal with them in a legal manner.

What acts are you looking forward to checking out at the BIGSOUND showcase? K21, Baro, Kween G, Milwaukee Banks, Mathas and JOY.
