Has the party side of the music industry been all you were hoping for so far in your career? Party side of the 'music industry'? no; party side of good parties with good DJs, yeah.
What is the best thing that's happened to you/your band so far? Being able to travel, play great shows and meet people through music.
Are your ambitions mainly artistic or commercial? Artistic.
Is your music best rendered in the studio or the live realm? Both have different benefits for my music. However the dancefloor element to the live show is where the music can evolve.
If you could have any act past or present join you on your next tour who would you tap? Kylie Minogue.
What industry lessons would you like to take away from the BIGSOUND conference? Business skillz.
What acts are you looking forward to checking out at the BIGSOUND showcase? I'm always excited to see Rainbow Chan and Harvey Sutherland, as well as lords Methyl Ethel. Also want to check out Jaala.
