Short description of your band and your music: We are like the first time you sculled a beer on a hot day — satisfying yet leaving you wanting more. 

Has the party side of the music industry been all you were hoping for so far in your career? PG answer: It's been beyond what I thought party could be. So much so it's made me realise how soft we really are when it comes to the exploits that are possible.

What is the best thing that's happened to you/your band so far? Releasing two albums independently to critical acclaim, having them chart and win awards. Touring overseas has been a massive achievement for us as well.

Are your ambitions mainly artistic or commercial? Any musicians that say "commercial" are fake musicians. If you are artistic and you are good, the benefits will follow eventually. Persistence is KEY. KEEP KNOCKING ON THOSE DOORS UNTIL THE RIGHT PEOPLE ANSWER.

Is your music best rendered in the studio or the live realm? I believe both. A good band needs to have both recorded and live music to the highest standard to achieve any success in the music industry. We work on both and never stop.

If you could have any act past or present join you on your next tour who would you tap? I'd say our fellow Aussies, Parkway Drive. That would be rad.

What industry lessons would you like to take away from the BIGSOUND conference? To see what other bands are up to and how they have dealt with certain situations and how they are achieving things. Learning from other people's experience is the best lesson!

What acts are you looking forward to checking out at the BIGSOUND showcase? All the metal/hard-rock bands.

Why should people come and see you from amongst the many cool bands at BIGSOUND? If you want that first beer feeling on a hot day back, then you will come see us. It will leave you very happy!
