LOSERAnswered by: Craig Selak – bass
Give us a short description of your music: Rockin', restless noise.
Which acts are on your must-see list at BIGSOUND? Super keen for Being Jane Lane and Bakers Eddy.
Why should people come and see you among the many amazing bands at BIGSOUND? Loud drums, rumbling bass, three loud guitars and big choruses. Crazy to miss it really.
What music trends do you think are dominating right now, and do you have any predictions for the coming year? Lots of unreal Australian music blowing up right now. We're hoping the new wave of guitar-focused alternative-rock continues to find its place back at the forefront.
In your career to date, what have been the key watershed moments? Playing at Falls Festival in Lorne on NYE was a huge moment for us, as well as signing to Domestic La La records. We feel very honoured to be part of their family alongside great bands like West Thebarton and Dear Seattle.

What industry lessons would you like to take away from the BIGSOUND conference? How to navigate to all the free beers on offer without ever needing to use a clipboard.
What do you identify as the most pressing issue impacting the Australian music industry at present? Finding ways for new music to get to people other than the major radio channels. Major radio networks are unreal, but sometimes emerging bands can become disheartened by unnecessarily measuring themselves against perceived success via a major platform, when their focus should be on making music they themselves love.
What is the best bit of advice you've been given to prepare for your time at BIGSOUND? Take the next day off work.
When and where is your BIGSOUND showcase? 3 Sep, The Zoo, 9.40pm; 5 Sep, Family, 8pm.
