Give us a short description of your music: Aggressive, unsettling and often bittersweet.
Which acts are on your must-see list at BIGSOUND? Shady Nasty and Party Dozen.
Why should people come and see you among the many amazing bands at BIGSOUND? To heighten their pulse.
What music trends do you think are dominating right now, and do you have any predictions for the coming year? I honestly couldn’t tell you, I have never been too aware of my surroundings. Predictions for the coming year? I can only speak for us – I predict more brother/sisterhood in our relationships between other bands and projects. There needs to be more of it.
In your career to date, what have been the key watershed moments? Touring with IDLES, playing Jura Books with Shady Nasty, the Lansdowne with Shogun & The Sheets, and our first headline show in Melbourne at The Old Bar with our dear comrades COLD/HEAT.
What industry lessons would you like to take away from the BIGSOUND conference? I believe developing relationships is important, regardless of the outcome. If we can develop a few relationships with people in the industry due to a respect for the music and each other, then we can go home satisfied.
What do you identify as the most pressing issue impacting the Australian music industry at present? A lack of community.
