Give us a short description of your music: Soaring melodic passages countered by punishing heavy riffs with deeply centered lyrics.

Which acts are on your must-see list at BIGSOUND? We're always super keen to see our good friends in Bare Bones play, but also excited to see Gravemind, Thornhill, Bugs and Windwaker to name a few.

In your career to date, what have been the key watershed moments? Our first tour as a band heading up to FNQ will always be a fond memory, but also getting to support bands like Deadlights, A Night In Texas, Hand Of Mercy (RIP) and Casey to name a few.

If you could give your younger self, starting out as a musician, a few words of wisdom, what would they be? Don't let the bad days get you down and save all your money and invest in good gear.

Why should people come and see you among the many amazing bands at BIGSOUND? We are guaranteed to give you plenty of heavy riffs and ripping melodies.

What industry lessons would you like to take away from the BIGSOUND conference? Any advice on how to better get our name out to people and hopefully getting on board with booking agencies and potentially labels is definitely up there.

What do you identify as the most pressing issue impacting the Australian music industry at present? Exposure and saturation of the market. Reliance on social media and touring being so expensive. Being a musician alone will never be a job anymore and more of a hobby due to the expenditure far outweighing the income.

What music trends do you think are dominating right now, and do you have any predictions for the coming year? That's a hard one, hoping to see some big new releases from larger Australian heavy bands though.

When and where is your BIGSOUND showcase? 4 Sep, Crowbar, 8.50pm; 5 Sep, Crowbar, 8.00pm.
