Give us a short description of your music: Sci-fi Abba.
Which acts are on your must-see list at BIGSOUND? Kult Kyss, Eilish Gilligan, Jade Imagine, Olympia, No Mono.
In your career to date, what have been the key watershed moments? Opening Laneway Festival, performing on Like A Version in 2015 and this year finally finishing a debut album that we couldn't be prouder of.
If you could give your younger self, starting out as a musician, a few words of wisdom, what would they be? Stay true to yourself as a songwriter. Make music that you want to hear not what you think other people want to hear.
Why should people come and see you among the many amazing bands at BIGSOUND? We will be playing brand new songs off our forthcoming debut album. This will be the first time we have ever played any of them to the public. It's a whole new silky, sparkly live show.

What industry lessons would you like to take away from the BIGSOUND conference? Always keen to soak up whatever we can.
What do you identify as the most pressing issue impacting the Australian music industry at present? There is still a distinct lack of racial, cultural and gender diversity in all areas. We have a way to go there. On another note there is still very limited avenues to get your music heard and to find audiences, particularly for artists making music outside the mainstream.
What music trends do you think are dominating right now, and do you have any predictions for the coming year? Very hard to predict. The electronic pop with the trap beats and chipmunk vocal hooks is still going strong. And then there's the garage rock, "dole wave", punk thing going on. Perhaps something will arise in the gap between these two. Something organic transported into the future.
When and where is your BIGSOUND showcase? Thursday 6th September, 8:50pm @ Family
