How did you first become involved in the music business and how did you end up where you are today? I started off as a muso singing in bands and then over a beer at a country tavern decided to give promoting a shot.
What advice would you give young practitioners starting out in your area? As much as possible be realistic about outcomes but still be a dreamer. Believe it is possible to create something financially viable and have a creative vision full of possibilities.
What do you think will be the biggest issue affecting the music industry in the next 12 months and why? The huge gulf between independently run events and those supported by the music industry and government.
