Organisation: 123 Agency - agent
How did you first become involved in the music business and how did you end up where you are today? I started serving drinks at the green room for the TV show Rove. Through this I networked and down the line I gained an internship at Universal Music and then moved to 123 Agency.
What advice would you give young practitioners starting out in your area? Networking and meeting people. Being able to build personal relationships is extremely important. Face value is absolutely priceless. Putting yourself out there is the key.
What do you think will be the biggest issue affecting the music industry in the next 12 months and why? The current lockout laws in Brisbane and Sydney. It is common sense to keep doors open. Melbourne is booming whereas Brisbane and Sydney have had major blows because of this.
