Aussies love their beer — and celebrating everything about our craft beer culture. Here's just a few of the events dedicated to the liquid gold.

The Beer InCider Experience — 18 & 19 Sep, Albion, QLD

The Beer InCider Experience includes craft beers and ciders from 32 independent brewers and two days of indie music. To round off the sensory delights there's also a cavalcade of your favourite food trucks.

Good Beer Week — 14 — 22 May, Melbourne, VIC

This huge festival plays host to the Australian International Beer Awards, The Australian Craft Brewers Conference and the Great Australasian Beer SpecTAPular. Big attractions aside, festival-goers get the chance to enjoy beer and food pairings, boost their knowledge at the Good Beer College, and rock out to an eclectic line-up of live music.

Bendigo On The Hop — Aug, Bendigo, VIC

Bendigo On The Hop is an invitation to celebrate the local craft beers and culture of Bendigo by getting a taste of Australian beer, food and music.

Froth & Bubbles Beer & Cider Festival — Aug, Wollongong, NSW

An event conceived with the brewers in mind, Froth & Bubbles organisers provide all the bars and equipment for the festival allowing smaller breweries to take part and shine.

South West Craft Beer Festival — Feb, Busselton, WA

The SWCBF flaunts its local pride, featuring only brewers, bands and food sourced from the surrounding region.

The Annual Australian Beer Festival — 16 — 18 Oct, Sydney, NSW

The Australian Heritage Hotel's annual beer festival features over 130 Australian beers and ciders from established and budding boutique brewers along with outdoor food stalls, live entertainment and 'meet the brewer' sessions.

Sydney Craft Beer Week — 17 — 25 Oct, Sydney, NSW

The SCBW are determined to brighten your craft beer education with brewer versus punter Nerf gun battles, free 'mega beer tastings', Darts and Mario Kart competitions, a proper German beer hall experience and more. If you're worried about the state of your grey matter after all that, they even have a 'hair of the dog breakfast' to cure what ails ya.

Beer Lover's Week — 14 — 21 Nov, TAS

Apart from all the usual beer festival fun, perhaps the highlight of BLW is The Battle Of The Brews, a competition where local amateur brewers battle for the People's Choice Trophy and The Brewer's Plate. Whoever's beer comes out on top, the crowd is always the winner.

Fremantle BeerFest — 14 & 15 Nov, Fremantle, WA

Now in its third year the FBF already draws upwards of 12,000 beer enthusiasts. With 60 stalls, brewing forums and master classes, live music and comedy, and the chance for one lucky amateur to have their recipe professionally brewed and tapped in a local venue, it's not hard to see why.
