Truly earning his spot on our Artists To Watch In 2016 series, Planète is definitely a name we think a lot more people will be talking about next year.

2015 has been quite a year for PLANÈTE. In February, he was signed to artist management company Good Manners, which is also home to successful musicians such as Banoffee, LUCIANBLOMKAMP and I'lls. Around the same time, he also released an amazing two track EP called 'Helix / Två Fontäner' on Silo Arts, which drew heavy comparisons to the sounds of Pantha Du Prince and Four Tet.

After impressing music fans and industry guests at BIGSOUND in Brisbane with his audiovisual live show, he was signed to Niche Productions, the touring agency who also look after the likes of Oscar Key Sung and Hiatus Kaiyote. Since then, Planète has been steadily growing his fan base through his impressive live performances at Melbourne Music WeekFBi Click's party Deeper//Darker in Sydney and while supporting Romare and Darius.

With Niche on his side and a big support slot already locked in for Machinedrum in Sydney on January 2, our entire Purple Sneakers team are convinced that Planète is well on his way to being a name everyone will be talking about in 2016.
