Artists to Watch in 2016: Nutrition

Since his move to Melbourne, Nutrition has gone from strength to strength which is why we named him as one of our Artists To Watch In 2016.

Earlier this year, we premiered NUTRITION's track 'SoluppgaĚŠng (Pt. 1)' from their impressive EP 'Conditions', which is best described as "atmospheric techno". Prior to that, they made an appearance at last year's Electronic Music Conference for the Die High Records showcase and played their first gig supporting CLASSIXX (not bad for a debut huh?).

Recently, the Byron Bay duo decided to split, which led to Eli Coppock relocating to Melbourne to continue the project. This has allowed him to show off his productions and DJ talent more regularly through a constant flow of bookings in a larger city.

Since Eli's move and transition into a solo act, he has become a resident DJ for Good Manners Weekly, a showcase of the artists attached to the successful music management company and record label. He also scored himself a spot on this year's Paradise festival lineup, which featured Roland Tings, My Disco, Black Vanilla, Cassius Select and a whole lot more.

Nutrition still has a bit of work to do yet, but if he continues releasing quality productions and is able to collate them into a decent live show, we believe he has the ability to make a breakthrough in the Australian music scene next year.
