Immensely talented producer and multi-instrumentalist Klue is ready for big thing in 2016

Gabriel Clouston has been kicking around Sydney for quite some time now and we Purple Sneakers folk have made no secret of our love for him. He has previously made up one third of Hip Hop trio True Vibenation and more recently has ventured down a solo and more soulful path under the moniker KLUE.

This multi-faceted artist has an uncanny knack for instrumentation, production and song writing which we think will make him a force to be reckoned with in 2016.

Klue is a toe tapping delight to listen to as well as being an English teachers wet dream to write about given the vast array of words you can use to describe this wonder kid. Mix some afro-beats, wrapped it in tropical groves, sprinkled in funk, tinged with hip-hop, lathered in some subtle bass, garnish with soul and he is ready to serve on 2016 season of Masterchef (read: Splendour line up maybe?).

Earlier this year Klue brought a little brass to dance floor with his joyous debut single 'Way I'm Lovin You' that earned him nods (read: head bops) from us as well as our friends over at FBi Radio who crowned him Independent Artist Of The Week. In November Klue entered our aural conscience once more with 'Hiding' a jungle-esque single and the first taste of his debut EP scheduled to drop in early 2016.

Klue has finished up the year in style joining indie dance label etcetc (Kilter, Paces, Set Mo). He has played a string of shows all over the country including a particularly stand out set at Subsonic Music Festival and has just put out a damn fine remix of 'Natural' by Polographia in time for the silly season.

There are heaps more shows coming up and with the aforementioned EP on the way 2016 is sure to be a big year for Klue and we can't wait for do be on the dance floor when it happens.
