ARTISTS TO WATCH IN 2013: Bondax

Have you ever heard the saying ‘Somewhere, someone, is younger and smarter than you and they’re doing it better’… This definitely applies to UK duo BONDAX.

Have you ever heard the saying ‘Somewhere, someone, is younger and smarter than you and they’re doing it better’… No? Well I thought I had, nevertheless it definitely exemplifies UK-duo, BONDAX.

They’re still in their teens, making blissful electronic tunes and they’ve already got their own label. Talk about gettin’ shit done!

George Townsend and Adam Kaye are the baby-faced assassins who make up BONDAX and since the release of their early 2012 EP You’re So, it has been full steam ahead from bedroom-producer anonymity to packing out clubs. While being commonly compared to likes of Disclosure, BONDAX are taking no time at all putting their distinct spin on things, incorporating romantic rhythms to form sophisticated productions well beyond their years.

‘Baby, I Got That’ is one of these, which was accompanied by their very first official music video in the latter half of 2012.

Now if you weren’t already impressed, here’s the main event. Their latest creation is an intoxicating blend of airy vocals with an edgy vibe.

The two young producers effortlessly deliver another uplifting beat met with bursting bass on ‘Gold,’ giving us as listeners a repeat-worthy track. I know I unashamedly raped the replay button on this one, so feel free to do so also.

Be sure to also check out BONDAX on their soundcloud page with them having created some beautifully executed remixes of some other standout candidates of 2012, AlunaGeorge and Rudimental.

The boys from BONDAX are well and truly on course for a big 2013 and we can’t wait to see the results!
