After a monster 2016, Alex Lahey isn't ready to just sit back and enjoy the spoils, this week announcing her signing to Dead Oceans (Secretly Group) for all territories outside of our big brown land. The news, accompanied with another quirky video clip for single Wes Anderson, follows on from getting a single in the triple j Hottest 100, and her getting started on her debut full length.

"I am so excited to be working with a label who truly believes in their artists and have a vision that wholeheartedly demonstrates their genuine passion for music. I can't wait to release my debut album later this year via Dead Oceans around the world and via my own label Nicky Boy Records locally."

And with no cause for messing about, she's packing her bags and gearing up for some shows in the UK (Supporting Tegan & Sara no less) and the US over February and March.
