Seattic ProfileMelbourne-based, synth-pop artist Seattic had a massive 2018 and is back this week to release his debut album, Retrospeculation. Premiering exclusively today on theMusic.com.au, it is guaranteed to put a pep in your step and get you over those hump day blues.
The former lead guitarist from Brisbane band Tourism, Seattic, aka Adrian Osman, set south last year to focus on his solo career with the resulting album chock-full of big synths and big energy.
Speaking of the new album, Osman told The Music that "the lyrics are fairly reflective about relationships, both romantic and non-romantic".
"So I'm hoping people resonate with the themes of the tracks," he said.
"From a musical perspective, I think I'm trying to explore how you can make sounds that are nostalgic (the '80s) but also 'new' at the same time."
