Roots/folk muso Liz Stringer is days away from releasing her new LP All The Bridges but we're premiering the whole thing here at theMusic.com.au, a few days early.
Recorded in Portland, Stringer says that songs like lead single Anyone were written "as a direct message to my mates because I wanted to let them know the gravity of my feelings for them. It just felt like the right time for this song to happen".
Of the album, Stringer adds, "The Portland freeways curl over each other in sweeping arcs and a series of bridges connects the East and West banks of the Willamette River, which runs through the heart of the city.
"They’re what I see when I think of making the album at Type Foundry and now, in my minds’ eye, it’s how I see the twists and turns of whatever happens from now on in my life. Needless to say, the bridges made a huge impression."
