"I feel this debut album perfectly captures that journey."
After sharing the influences behind their debut album earlier this week, local outfit Full Power Happy Hour today unveil the self-titled release in full.
It’s a solid effort from Meanjin/Brisbane alt-country/indie-folk five-piece, which fans will be able to witness live across a handful of East Coast shows that kick off tonight in Ballarat.
"When Full Power Happy Hour formed back in 2018, I finally found a home for all the folkier songs I’d been writing in the background during my years playing in punk bands,” vocalist/guitarist Alex Campbell told The Music.
“What started off as solely a recording project, has now grown into its own entity. I feel this debut album perfectly captures that journey, finally getting to see these vulnerable songs out in the world, together with a bunch of my close friends."
