Album title? Take You Out Tonight

Where did the title of your new album come from? A classic disco hit. It's an invitation and a threat! To all our friends, family, lovers, special things, day dreams, top secrets, new songs, fresh looks and you. Anything that's in, is 'coming out!' Tonight.

How many releases do you have now? This is our second full-length record. Sweet Spots was released just over two years ago, this record is better!

How long did it take to write/record? Two years and an eternity, just a fraction of that was actually putting pen to paper and pressing the buttons, but the wheels are in motion and there's another record in the big womb now. 

Was anything in particular inspiring you during the making? Well, I guess the sweet life, which is the process in itself. The band's dynamic hunger for musicianship, Greek food, everyday science, flowers, virtual jokes, complex romances, simple friendships, RuPaul, cannoli and the sun's heartbeat. 

What's your favourite song on it? I've a soft spot for Hula Heatwave, the last one written, it's a place with sunset prawn and floral skies. 

Will you do anything differently next time? We'll write better songs, put more music in the music, have everything ready to record, then go into a studio with Barry Gibb and talk softly about the now, 4real. 

When and where is your launch/next gigs? 8 Apr, Howler. We wanted a venue with a wide stage so we can dress it and fit all our extra special musicians on it.
