"I think that in this world it is harder and harder to be and feel free."
Album title? The Art Of Escape
Where did the title of your new album come from? I think that in this world it is harder and harder to be and feel free. So the record has essentially become something I've created to attain that feeling and focus on a safe zone!
How many releases do you have now? I released my debut self-titled EP in April last year. This album will be my second release.
How long did it take to write/record? Almost five years. It is a collection of songs I've written since I was around 18.

Was anything in particular inspiring you during the making? I recorded the album in Montreal and that city is overall so creative! There is so much art being made everywhere and that definitely put me in the right frame of mind.
What's your favourite song on it? I've had a few different favourites at different times! At the moment I'm really excited for Overflow.
Will you do anything differently next time? Yes! I would focus on layering more tracks at once with a band to give it more spontaneous electricity and energy.
When and where is your launch/next gig?

25 Feb, The Workers Club; 26 Feb, Howler.
27 Feb, Anita's Theatre, Thirroul; 4 Mar, The Basement; 5 Mar, Transit Bar, Canberra; 12 Mar, Lizottes Newcastle.
