Album title? Tremors
Where did the title of your new album come from? Jules probably has a deeper meaning for it from the track Tremors but I like the concept of the subtle pulses you'd feel when you know something much bigger is just around the corner.
How many releases do you have now? Two EPs and two albums, though I've only really been here for this one.
How long did it take to write/record? Over three years if you take it from first song to last song written. Forever from a songwriting perspective. Some tracks are only months old and some were there before I had even joined on
Was anything in particular inspiring you during the making? Since it took a while we got the rise and fall of a few different musical inspirations. Royal Blood's debut album would definitely up there, but three years is a long time inspirationally speaking.
What's your favourite song on it? Probably The Golden Lamp which was my favourite track even before even joining the band.
Will you do anything differently next time? A lot. Hindsight is 20/20, rest assured there should be a lot less time between drinks before the next record with all we learnt from it though.
When and where is your launch/next gig?: Perth gig at Four5nine this Saturday, July 16. This weekend marks the halfway point of the tour so we're all truly warmed up but far from burnt out. Gonna be a goodun!
