Album title? Control

Where did the title of your new album come from? When writing the album I realised that no matter how much you want to, you can't control what happens in life so the album a journey of discovering how to let go.

How many releases do you have now? This is my first full length as Fyfe.

How long did it take to write/record? It took about 18 months, but it's hard to measure accurately.

Was anything in particular inspiring you during the making? A lot of the songs are based on observations of both myself and others around me. I guess becoming more aware that everyone is affected by emotion and we are inherently relational.

What's your favourite song on it? I think my favourite song is in waves as it feels like the most intimate.

Will you do anything differently next time? I've just started writing my second record and I'm trying not to take it too seriously and just enjoy making music. I think the best creativity comes whilst having fun.

When and where is your launch/next gig? I've just come off a long UK and European tour so I don't think I play for another couple of weeks which will be at The Great Escape Festival.
