Album title? Doubleblack

Where did the title of your new album come from? It just made sense to use our name for the first album ... reinforce our name.

How many releases do you have now? Previously an EP, but this is our first album release.

How long did it take to write/record? We made the songs up from old songs and jamming. Everything was recorded and mixed in four days ... Barring a few touch-ups.

Was anything in particular inspiring you during the making? I think we just wanted a good rocking album with a mixture of songs that we enjoy playing ...And hopefully that translates on the album.

What's your favourite song on it? Personally, I like Hard to Believe ... I'm a sucker for garage twang with handclaps.

Will you do anything differently next time? Possibly take a bit more time to construct songs ... But I personally like banging an album out quickly, recording-wise.

When and where is your launch/next gig? Saturday, September 13, at the 12th annual Logan Tattoo & Art Exhibition, at the Acacia Ridge Hotel, Acacia Ridge, with Mason Rack Band, The Empresarios, Dirty Dukes, Jake Whittaker and The Ten Fours.
