Album title? A Room With A View
Where did the title of your new album come from? The phrase was mentioned during mixing when trying to describe what had been recorded and it stuck in our heads. We feel it reflects what's on the album quite well.
How many releases do you have now? Just this one — our first full length album.
How long did it take to write/record? The bulk of the material was written and worked on over a period of four years, since the band started, but a few of the songs were written only a month or two before recording.
Was anything in particular inspiring you during the making? Just being in the studio was an inspiration, to be surrounded by all things music. Playing, recording and just hanging out there 24/7 was the best part.
What's your favourite song on it? No One Home collectively. We were all pleased with how it turned out and it's indicative of our future direction.
Will you do anything differently next time? Nothing drastically different, we'll just do what we've always tried to do: get new sounds, add new colours, get out of our comfort zone and see where we end up.
When and where is your launch/next gig? On 18 Nov, A Room With A View will be available on various platforms including iTunes, Spotify, Bandcamp etc.
