Who's playing and why did you choose these artists to rep you? Phuture, Night Slugs (L-Vis 1990 & Bok Bok), Andras Fox, Rainbow Chan, Ben Fester & Preacha. A mix of the old school and new – a diverse range of club and live acts that represent the various facets of genres that we push here at Astral.
What's exciting about performing at the Opera House? It's very rare you get to see this sort of music in such an iconic space – never did we think it was possible, actually. There's just something really special about it, something that was probably ingrained into us as little kids going on school excursions back in the day. Now we're hosting nights there.
What else are you looking forward to at Vivid LIVE and why? Goodgod Small Club Penny Penny Night – I've always been a huge admirer of Jimmy and Hana's ears and eyes for talent and curation so really excited to see what they come up with this year. The Siberia Records night also promises to be a night of smoke machines and eclectic tunes.
