Perth To Host WWE-Based Netflix Sports Club This Weekend

This weekend, Perth will be the place to be for WWE fans.

While RAC Arena will host a WWE takeover, Northbridge Brewing Co. is where you need to be if you’re not at the arena for a two-day event (Saturday, 11 October, and Sunday, 12 October) called Netflix Sports Club.

From 12 pm to 12 am, patrons will be able to experience Netflix’s sports and sports-entertainment favourites, such as the Formula 1 series Drive To Survive, the golf documentary Full Swing, and the raw intensity of WWE, live boxing, and NFL.

On Saturday night, Northbridge Brewing Co. will host the premiere event: a livestream of WWE Crown Jewel, live from the RAC Arena, exclusively on Netflix. The historic event will see John Cena take the ring in Australia for the last time before he departs his wrestling career.

The Netflix Sports Club is first-in, best-dressed – no tickets or bookings are required. You’ll be able to buy food and drinks and keep yourself going all weekend.

The event will feature a “vibrant, tailgate-style party atmosphere” with DJs, photo ops, classic pub raffles, sports trivia, and more. Head to the Netflix website to find out more about the Sports Club.

In addition to the livestream and Netflix-based fun, the weekend will be packed with activities to test a sports fan’s skills and knowledge.

The activities include:

• Test Your Might: Test your strength with boxing punch machines and unleash your inner WWE Superstar.

• Drive to Survive: How fast is your reaction speed? Test it and secure a podium place.

• Putt Your Way to Victory: Northbridge Brewing Co. will feature a custom mini-golf course for you to have a putt. Remember, banter is mandatory.

• Ringside Ready Looks: This weekend, Northbridge Brewing Co. will have an on-site barber ready to get you into shape: get yourself a WWE-inspired mullet.

• Touchdown Glory: Try a football touchdown toss to show off your arm strength.
