Ahead of their visit, Killyourstereo.com chats with frontman John Baizley about the new album, the creative process and hitting the road again after a bus crash last year that led to serious injuries and lineup changes.

Savannah sludge metal kings Baroness have surprised and impressed with every release, and are busy putting the finishing touches on a brand new album for this year. Frontman and chief songwriter John Dyer Baizely is in Australia this month for a solo tour, joined by Scott Kelly of Neurosis. In wake of the tour, Baizely stopped in with Killyourstereo for a chat.

Baroness are set to return to Australia this week for the second time this year, this time around opening for Metallica on their massive "Death Magnetic" tour. The band's guitarist and and vocalist John Baizley answered a few questions for us before the upcoming tour.
