The 2 Bears are a British musical duo formed in 2009 composed of Joe Goddard (of electronic band Hot Chip) and Raf Rundell (previously of 1965 Records). The duo produces original material amalgamating various styles including 2-step, house and soul and also host a radio show on Ministry of Sound Radio entitled Follow the Bears. Critics offer various descriptions of The 2 Bears' sound including "pop-hip-house" "liquid-bmore-house-step" and "rave-garage". The duo have produced remixes for several established artists including Santigold, Metronomy, Toddla T and the View.

Premiere: The 2 Bears - Not This Time (Capracara Remix)
Our first ever Pilerats.com Soundcloud exclusive is a grooving slice of house.. The 2 Bears are British producer/DJ duo Raf Rundell and Joe Goddard (Hot Chip), and they're making their way to Australia to bring some of their patented brand of bump'n'grind house over four shows during this Australia Day weekend. Yesterday we asked them to give us some insight into a typical 2 Bears DJ set (get some hot tips HERE), and today they, along with fellow UK-based producer Capracara, have kindly thrown us an exclusive remix to celebrate their arrival into the country. Not This Time is from The 2 Bears 2014 album The Night Is Young, and this remix from Capracara ups the groove and shuffle for something special. The UK house duo take us through a night on the decks ahead of their Australian tour.. The 2 Bears are British producer/DJ duo Raf Rundell and Joe Goddard (Hot Chip), who've been traipsing around the globe delving into a variety of styles including house, hip hop, 2-step, garage and more, and have been frequent visitors to our shores since their 2009 formation. They're back down under over the Australia Day weekend, and given they're wealth of knowledge in the dance music realm, we thought we'd find out what a perfect night may consist of for them behind the 1's and 2's.
