The acclaimed house duo will perform three headline shows around the country this January
London-based house duo The 2 Bears are extending their Australian reach while in the country for next month's Sugar Mountain Festival, with the acclaimed two-piece naming three extra dates — one each in Sydney, Brisbane and Perth — as part of their January sojourn.
The 2 Bears' Aussie visit will now see them take in headline appearances at Brisbane's Alhambra Lounge on Saturday 24 Jan, Sydney's Beach Road Hotel on Sunday 25 Jan, and wrap it all up with a final show in Perth, at The Conservatory, on Monday 26 Jan.
The pair behind The 2 Bears, Hot Chip's Joe Goddard alongside Raf Daddy, have swiftly become renowned for their hectic live offerings and, with recent sophomore LP The Night Is Young freshly behind them, are still riding high upon the acclaim heaped their way following the release of 2012's debut full-length Be Strong and its triumphant lead single Bear Hug as fresh praise swirls around them for latest banger Not This Time.
If you're headed to Sugar Mountain Festival, held in Melbourne on Saturday 24 Jan, then you can catch The 2 Bears at your leisure alongside an A-list line-up of acts including Nas, Odesza, Midnight Juggernauts, Ariel Pink, Iceage, How To Dress Well, King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard and many more.
