We catch up with Gallows' bearded guitarist, Laurent ‘Lags’ Bernard, to talk about the new album, his wicked beard, and his love of Converge’s ‘Jane Doe’.

"That was my gut reaction when I saw the photo. I was like, ‘This would look fuckin’ sick as an album cover.’ I know loads of people won’t get it, but for me, that’s important too, you know? I just like fuckin’ with people."

Gallows holds no punches and revitalises the band’s career, which could have very easily disappeared all too quickly.

Gallows have found new life with MacNeil fronting the band, and he, in turn, has been given a new creative outlet now that Alexisonfire are, or are soon to be, no more.
