If fans were screaming, it was not heard by anybody, Boris noise levels felt like a pair of hands was squeezing your lungs.

It brings down an evening that unusually saw the band move in more abstract and textural directions, but at the very core of their sound the metal-inspired noise they make still produces a satisfying sensory overload.

Boris are one of the most exciting live acts around and we are lucky to have them.

Drummer Atsuo explains why the band aren’t as accepted in their homeland

"They do tire you out, those drums. Oh, but I don’t know. Personally I don’t feel like I’m hitting drums, it’s more like dancing… or maybe swimming."
