Pill testing

The state's LNP government has fulfilled a promise to crack down on pill testing in Queensland.

After beginning a “highly successful” pill testing trial in December, the Victorian government have announced plans to expand operations in the coming months.

"This is not a trial to decide if Victoria will implement pill testing. It’s a trial to understand how to implement it."

“No drug is ever truly safe, but with this new legislation, Victorians can be better informed about their drug use."

While WA has largely dodged festival deaths, the heat on our politicians to introduce pill testing is still on..
