Future Music Festival

Maybe Future does try to do too much all at once in trying to appeal to teenage club heads as well as old-timer indie kids. But today we danced to The Stone Roses playing Fools Gold, and that’s all that counts, really.

Future Music Festival really did offer something for every type of music lover, but there were major issues with a lack of organisation, poor sound and overcrowding.

While the Prodigy situation pissed a few off, one feels the only way it could have been avoided was if (the allegedly quite ill) Avicii actually turned up to spread the love.

So a day that could have been a debacle ends up a complete (albeit a soggy) triumph.
