To celebrate the release of Teen Jesus & The Jean Teasers’ debut EP, ‘Pretty Good For A Girl Band’, Jaida Stephenson shares five songs that inspired the new release.

“‘Girl Sports’ specifically is basically a big middle finger to all the men that have treated us like we’re less than in the music industry and to call out the losers that think it's okay to catcall women literally every day. It's like a big GROW UP and treat women better cause we're just so sick and tired of it. We want everyone that has ever felt like this to have something they can belt out their frustration too."

Following last year's success with a sold-out Live At The Bowl show, Arts Centre Melbourne has once again teamed up with Australian youth-music organisation The Push for another all-ages event. Ahead of their performances at the April 10 gig at Sidney Myer Music Bowl, headlined by Dune Rats, we had Beddy Rays and Teen Jesus & The Jean Teasers interview each other.

Geelong was a preview show for the Nov/Dec Stadium tour, it seems! Frontier Touring is thrilled to announce global rock giants Foo Fighters will return to Australia and New Zealand in November/December 2022. As teased by Dave Grohl on stage last Friday night, the Fooies will retuern to play Perth, Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney, Wellington and Auckland. It will be Foo Fighters’ first headline tour of both countries since 2018.

"I wrote it with Alex Lahey (which was an absolute dream) and we wanted to write something relatable, referencing share house couches and dirty bathrooms."
