UK producer Kindness's album is up to stream for free.. Kindness’ Adam Bainbridge's 2012 full length World, You Need a Change Of Mind was a sparkling hybrid of old and new dance music, modern pop and funk versus moody neo-disco and soul – with plenty of big funky basslines, like that in memorable single Gee Up.   Two years on, and he’s back with a new album, Otherness. It retains that D’Angelo-touched vibe of World..., but steps it up with collabs from Fade to Mind’s progressive R&B singer Kelela, Swedish pop firecracker Robyn, and Sky Ferrerira collaborator Dev Hynes (Kindness previously appeared on Blood Orange's album Cupid Deluxe). The album was mixed by revered sound engineer Jimmy Douglass, who’s worked with everyone from Aretha Franklin, to Aaliyah, to Timbaland (they made Ginuwine’s Pony together), to Justin Timberlake.
