Camperdown & Out

While Camperdown & Out and all their supports are strong and entertaining in their own right and particular genres, the crowd can certainly feel the incongruity of the acts.

Nathan John Roche (Marf Loth) and Alex Kiers (Raw Prawn) show glimpses of songwriting shrewdness here, and have definitely done so via their other bands.

The languid warble of Morphine Dream is a fitting end to an album that’s so affectless yet enjoyable that liking it this much says more about you than this album ever gets around to doing.

Music like this is fun and although minutely annoying, it’s difficult to hate.
