There's A Huge Photo Exhibition Feat. Soundgarden, Pearl Jam & More Launching Next Month

A huge photo exhibition is launching in Australia next month, looking back at some of the most iconic pics of the '90s grunge movement. 

US photographer Chris Cuffaro is bringing his Greatest Hits: Grunge series to Sydney's Blender Gallery, which will feature his work with artists including Soundgarden and Chris Cornell, Nirvana, Pearl Jam and Eddie Vedder, 7 Year Bitch, Alice In Chains, Mudhoney and more.

"Greatest Hits is a celebration of my two biggest passions, music and photography," shares Cuffaro of the exhibition. 

"When I think of grunge, I think of best friends, great music, The Rocket newspaper, wet weather, Sub Pop Records, great photo shoots and most of all the amazing moments that I witnessed and shot.

"Coming from Los Angeles, I was an outsider to most, but everyone welcomed me and treated me like I belonged. This was a big deal for me at the time - most of these bands were my favourite bands and musical heroes."

"Chris Cuffaro's photographs are a visual history of one of the most important movements in modern music," adds Blender Gallery owner Tali Udovich. "Blender Gallery is very excited to present this collection for the first time in Australia."
