British disco-pop queen Sophie Ellis-Bextor will return to Australia in February 2026, today announcing her highly anticipated return.

The Murder On The Dancefloor singer last toured across Australia in October and November 2024, opening for Take That on their A Day On The Green concerts and headline shows. And while she played a few shows for Summer Camp festival and Always Live in 2022, they weren’t full-blown headline tour dates that she’s bringing this time around.

In February 2026, Ellis-Bextor will tour in support of her new album, Perimenopop, promising to perform your favourite hits from the noughties as well as new pop tunes.

The tour begins on Friday, 6 February, at Melbourne’s Forum and continues at Sydney’s Roundhouse on Saturday, 7 February, Brisbane’s The Tivoli on Tuesday, 10 February, and concludes at Perth’s Ice Cream Factory on Thursday, 12 February.

For all dates excluding Perth, Ellis-Bextor will be joined by Australian-born, English-based indie pop singer-songwriter Holiday Sidewinder.

Pre-sale tickets will be available on Wednesday, 17 September, at 10 am local time – sign up to access those tickets here. The general sale begins on Thursday, 18 September, at 10 am local time via the Untitled Group website.

Since 2023, Ellis-Bextor has enjoyed a pop-culture resurgence after her hit single, Murder On The Dancefloor, soundtracked a pivotal moment in the film Saltburn. In addition to the film sync, the singer’s classic song was covered by Aussie duo Royel Otis for triple j’s Like A Version last year, the reinterpretation a hit among fans.

Reviewing her performance opening for Take That in Perth last year, The Music’s Sam Mead wrote, “It’s her covers of Gimme Gimme Gimme (A Man After Midnight) and Like A Prayer that are enough to rip the crowd from their seats as she spins like a glittery pink disco ball.

“Ellis-Bextor is invigorating and a cool breath of air. She’s proof that a great band, some killer vocals, and a light-up sign can really take you places, especially when you’re partying to covers of classic hits.”
