ARIAs Nominee Odette Is Teasing A Collab With Another Excellent Aussie Act

She may still be riding a wave of success off the back of her debut album, but ARIA Awards nominated artist Odette isn’t slowing down for a second, today teasing a new single.

Nominated for the illustrious Breakthrough Artist award at tomorrow’s ARIAs, the singer-songwriter has revealed her new single, A Place That I Don’t Know, will drop this Friday.

The new cut is a duet with Melbourne singer Gretta Ray, who Odette described as having a “beautiful tone”.

"I’m so excited to release this song out into the world on Friday,” Odette told The Music.

“Gretta and I laid down this track in an afternoon and made, what was a really difficult song to write, a beautiful and cathartic experience to record.

“I have so much love for her and this song. I hope when people hear it that they like it!"

Odette stopped by The Music Podcast earlier this year around the release of her debut LP, To A Stranger.
