Highlight Of The Year

Here I am, watching Gang of Youths as the sun was setting upon the hot day that was Let Go Fest. The Deepest Sighs, The Frankest Shadows (my favourite of theirs) begins as my friend hoists me upon his shoulders, the deeply orange setting sun streams through the backdrop of the stage as we all scream "NOT EVERYTHING MEANS SOMETHING HONEY". It was something out of a dream, it could not be more picture perfect, and I swear at that moment my smile couldn't have been wider, and I most definitely cried a little.

Prediction For Next Year

I feel there'll be a political resurgence within modern music. As musicians are getting more involved than ever in our current political climate (eg. Love It If We Made It - The 1975) I think 2019 all of the angst and passion will spill across not only alternative music but mainstream too. I think they're done being quiet about it all now.
