If you’ve written off Toxic Holocaust, Chemistry Of Consciousness is all the re-education you need.

More Toxic Holocaust More Toxic Holocaust

Joel Grind is a one-man thrash phenomenon and this, his fifth album under the Toxic Holocaust banner is his best effort to date. Clocking in at a comfortable 28 minutes Grind somehow throws together a wave of d-beat and mid-'80s crossover complete with flourishes of Kreator, Venom and Motorhead, and makes it sound coherent. Producer Kurt Ballou (Converge) gives each offering a clear sonic punch without stripping the likes of Silence, Acid Fuzz and I Serve... of their gritty street-level appeal. If you've written off Toxic Holocaust, Chemistry Of Consciousness is all the re-education you need.
