"A brilliant solo debut."

More Timothy Nelson More Timothy Nelson

Fans of Timothy Nelson & The Infidels are in for a nice surprise now that Nelson's heading down the solo path with Words Like Young.

Nelson's sound is unique. There's a humbleness to it that suffuses the album, with its indie-rock vibes and occasional dash of folk, acoustic guitar and understated songs that will have you dreaming away the day — Good As It Gets being a prime example. Chill-rock tracks like Explain and Living Saloon bring the energy up, making sure everything isn't too relaxing. It's a brilliant solo debut for Nelson, definitely worth a listen.
