"Boasts strong, solid, heavy grunge for the appreciators, a mark of what is definitely coming back in force."

This EP begins, for some unfathomable reason, with a rooster’s crow, before diving headfirst into thick grunge revival-riff soup, heavy, angsty – the production is just right – extremely satisfying in a meaty way.

Black Stone From The Sun have delivered on the promises of their live shows, but we’re still waiting for the screw twist that’ll make this sound theirs. In the meantime, Death Threats And Cigarettes boasts strong, solid, heavy grunge for the appreciators, a mark of what is definitely coming back in force.
