You Am I Announce 'The You's Pull Up Their Troos' Australian Tour

Aussie rock favourites You Am I have announced an expansive “The You’s Pull Up Their Troos” Australian tour to cap off the end of 2023.

Taking on regional and central cities throughout November and December, You Am I’s upcoming run begins at the Torquay Hotel on Friday, 3 November. It travels all the way through Victoria, Western Australia, Queensland, the ACT and more, finishing at the Unibar in Wollongong on Saturday, 9 December.

The band will take fans through their lengthy discography, landing at 2021’s The Lives Of Others and arrives before their support slot for The Darkness on their Permission To Land 20th anniversary Australian tour in February. However, You Am I will perform their Spinal Tap tribute show, The Majesty of Tap, for that tour. This upcoming tour is all You Am I.

“Hey punk, we put on our troos one leg at a time just like any dandies, but after we do, we know what we’re s’posed to Dü, and that’s make a motherlovin racket,” vocalist Tim Rogers said in a statement about the band’s upcoming tour.

“After playing songs by the Who-men and before Tapping into the East Coast with Them Darknesses, we are hoping to finish writing a new LP whilst playing a lotta toons we haven’t in yonks on the Troos Tour. Bunch from #4? Why the frug not.
