Xiu Xiu Announce October Tour

For many years Jamie Stewart and those collaborators who he surrounds himself with have made Xiu Xiu one of the most critically adored active indie acts and thankfully Stewart seems to enjoy coming to Australia so we've had no shortage of visits from the man and his band over the years. They are on their way back this October at the invitation of Room40 and will be playing four Australian dates while they are here.

Xiu Xiu's most recent album Always is a marriage of the band's electro-pop sensibilities and their harsher, more aggressive post-punk edge. Does this mean you get the best of both worlds with this record? Well we reckon so, but you should listen to it to form your own opinion, Xiu Xiu just remain that kind of band. We can promise that they will deliver an engaging live show when they are here in October. The dates are below.
