Mac DeMarco Reveals Details For New Album 'Here Comes The Cowboy'

Mac DeMarco has confirmed details for his fourth studio album, Here Comes The Cowboy, set for release this year. 

Due out on 10 May, the LP is the Canadian songwriter's follow-up to 2017's This Old Dog and the first to be released through Mac's Record Label. 

"This one is my cowboy record," DeMarco said.

"Cowboy is a term of endearment to me, I use it often when referring to people in my life. Where I grew up there are many people that sincerely wear cowboy hats and do cowboy activities. These aren’t the people I’m referring to.” 

To celebrate the album announce, DeMarco has also released lead single Nobody and an accompanying self-directed music video (spoilers: potential lizard man visions ahead).
