Wow, wow, wow...

Excuse us while we try to calm down because this year's BIGSOUND has really raised the bar!

In addition to huge first line-up announced a few weeks back, BIGSOUND have today announced an additional 64 acts to join the 2018 line-up, as well as unveiling the official venues and parties for this year's event.

139 — that's how many Aussie acts there are to catch at this year's BIGSOUND! Joining the already massive line-up (which already includes the likes of Cable Ties, yú yī, A Swayze & The Ghosts, The Chats, Slowly Slowly, Eilish Gilligan, KAIIT, TOTTY and more) are East Brunswick All Girls Choir, Arno Faraji, Didirri, Eliza & The Delusionals, Carla Geneve, Nice Biscuit, No Mono, CLEWS, RAAVE TAPES, IV League, Jade Imagine and a stack more.

If 139 acts aren't enough for you, this year's event will also have over twenty events and parties, hosted by Levi’s, Virgin Australia, The Guardian, Secret Sounds/The Music, Future Super Services, Beehive & 123 Agency, GYROstream, Stage & Screen, Love Busk, Bettercups, Queensland Music Awards and BEMAC

This year's closing party will be brought to you by Fat Wreck Chords and Milk! Records, while the week will also be playing host to Oztix's exclusive 15th anniversary celebrations.

BIGSOUND are again the highlighting of the best of the Valley, with venues like 256 Wickham, Woolly Mammoth, Black Bear Lodge, Crowbar, The Brightside, The Foundry and more ready for another year.

"Performers, buyers, speakers, talent scouts and visitors converging on Brisbane will discover a great place to live, work and relax, and BIGSOUND will add to the 50,000 annual festivals, markets and events that contribute to our vibrant and creative city."

The today's announcement follows a string of exciting news already confirmed for BIGSOUND 2018, including keynotes from Aussie legend Paul Kelly, Lagwagon frontman Joey Cape, Fat Wreck Chords label founder Erin Kelly-Burkett, Virginia Grohl and former Warner Music General Manager Mardi Caught, as well as the return of the Singapore Showcase
