After cutting their Melbourne gig short on Wednesday.
Midnight Oil have announced they will see out the final four Australian dates of The Great Circle tour, after they were forced to cut their Melbourne gig short this week due to guitarist Jim Moginie tearing his hamstring on stage.
In a statement posted online on Thursday night, the band confirmed Moginie will still perform after suffering a "hamstring avulsion"; described as "a debilitating injury where the hamstring tendon is completely detached from the bone".
"As such he will need to remain seated throughout the show instead of standing for his guitar songs as would otherwise have been the case," the post reads.
Midnight Oil will next perform at The Domain in Sydney tomorrow night before moving on to play in Wollongong next week, as well as additional concerts in Melbourne and Sydney.
