The ARIAs are going home.

Just a month after Network Ten announced it would be going into voluntary administration, it has today been revealed that the Nine Network is to once again be the home of the ARIA Awards after airing on Ten for the last few years.

The first televised ARIA Awards came in 1992 on Nine, but later went to Ten from 2002-2008 and again in 2010.

Fairfax have reported this week that Network Ten owes secured creditors $129 million and has accumulated losses of $1.3 billion.

However, a spokesperson for the Ten Network has since told The Music that the decision to not renew its contract with the ARIA Awards was made before it went into voluntary administration.
