AHHHHHHHHH.

More The Killers More The Killers

The Killers are reportedly set to return to Australia this year to perform at the AFL grand final.

According to Fox Sports News, the US rock outfit will play the coveted slot in September, but at this stage, they will not play any additional dates.

Fox Sports News have also reported that The Killers will release their highly-anticipated fifth album just ten days before the 30 September match, after NME reported last month that the LP is currently being mixed.

The Australian visit would be the band's first since 2013 when they performed at the now-defunct Big Day Out festival.

It has also been reported that rock icons Pearl Jam are being chased to perform at the NRL grand final in October.

Mushroom Group told The Music today that no acts have been confirmed for the AFL grand final.
